Great photo work.
Do they taste like —- you know what!!?
The male looks like a rabbit when it raises the two “wings” beside his eyes.

Have never seen a Prairie chicken thank you. Beautiful!
Wow! Amazing
At the risk of being the same as everyone else,
I love these Prairie Chickens.
Amazing-
Thank you.
Amazing to watch. They do their dance, make their call and then it sounds as if the others are laughing at them. I would love to see this in person. Such a special sight to see. Thank you for sharing with us.
quite a dance!
Thank you, Jim, for sharing what most of us might never see!
WOW! Simply WOW!
Wow! I sure learned something new today!! Thank you!!
I finally after all these years I now know what they look like. We’d drive by fields saying Prairie chickens and never saw one.
Thank you.
Just in time for Easter! The male prairie chicken looks like he’s got ears like a rabbit. But I love their calls back and forth. It sure beats the dozen or so peafowl which are around here which sound more like strangled felines when they send their messages out.
I never tire of those. They are so funny ! Thank you so much.
