Nice to see the pelicans again. Fun to watch them on Sanibel and also Orr, Mn while fishing. Thank you.
I’d love to be a pelican for a while…what’s it like to fly and soar? How do I know where I’m going? How come dozens of us fly closely together and never crash into each other? What does the world look like from 300’? We know so little about the creatures around us.
I love pelicans. Don’t see them here on Lake Erie but used to see them on the lakes in Manitoba and always enjoy watching them when we visit Florida near Fort Myers.
So amazingly joyful!!
As a small child we found a dead pelican. My father lifted it up and stretched out it’s wings. It was enormous, perhaps six feet across. Nature never ceases to amaze me. Never.
Wow
Love these beautiful pelicans.
Amazing!! They look like the Thunderbirds, flying in formation!!! Even the sound is incredible! Thanks for your gift of capturing nature through photography!! We have raised our five daughters going to Ely and stopping by your studio to catch your latest masterpieces! Just got back from the Blueberry Festival on Monday.
I was used to seeing Pelicans in the bay area, but was astonished to see them in New Mexico. And here, on the plains.
I just love Pelicans!
Beautiful formations!
My soul takes flight.
The clouds, the wind and the pelicans, what a catch!
How beautiful and what a thrill to see them! Thanks
They look so disorganized.
Bon samedi.
pelicans, love em
I was surprised to learn there are pelicans in Iowa. I loved the opening scene where it looked like the long line of pelicans was riding a wave in the air.
Amazingly talented videotaping!
So neat to watch
Love the geometrics!
Thank you
Magnificent birds and great video with the clouds and tall grass.
Dynamic.
What a beautiful video. That glorious cloud with the pelicans and then the grass waving in the wind. Gorgeous….I once saw a flock of these when living in Wellington, Mo. Very high in the sky so they must have been migrating northward. Such a sight!!
Awesome capture!
Awesome! I love watching a Pelican Ballet! <3
Great video-where is this?
Take me to the sky.
Poetry in motion❤️
Looks like they were filmed from the air. Amazing choreography for their dance.
Beautiful against the clouds!
Beautiful pelicans!!
I love these fresh water pelicans. I have seen them in Illinois in the winter by the Mississippi river..
I’m used to seeing them near the ocean; this is a treat.
Now I want to be one of them!
Love to watch them fly
Sometimes when it’s a large flock flying over the Mississippi River and the light is just right it looks like a silvery cumulous cloud. A sight to behold.
