Never seen an oven bird nest. What kind of location?
Sweet indeed!
Sweet ovenbirds <3
Tis the season, great. Thank you
Great hidden nest!
Beautiful and well hidden!
How lovely but DON’T BLINK! I had to watch it three times before seeing the parent reach the nest. I blinked!
Wonderfull !
I loved this video! I would think that for a bird, that even though the nest is hidden, ground predators would be able to find it easier to find than a nest in a tree but I hope not!
Just joined up. Loved today’s Nashville Warbler at the nest!
Love to watch them feed, and hear the babies cries. Nature’s music!❤️ Never heard of an Oven Bird! Reminds me of a miniature dove.
Jim, your work is so terrific. Thanks, many times over.
Well hidden & beautiful!
I think it may be an oven bird. They are ground nesters.
