Thank you for sharing! Just love this! The pine marten reminds me of the one we raised when we lived on Lakewood Rd. Thanks for the memory! Jim does such amazing work for us all to enjoy and relish!
I miss the animals of the north! Thanks for a beautiful glimpse into the world in which I used to live, Jim.
Thank you ❤️
Beautiful shots of the Pine Grosbeaks; and that critter is adorable, but I don’t know what it is. Lovely video, thanks so much!
Love the Pine Martin And are those scarlet Tanager’s?
Pine grosbeaks!
Linda, they are Pine Grosbeaks
Judy Brandenburg thank you!
Perhaps waiting for a wolf kill? Proof positive that wolves feed a lot of forest and tundra animals when they bring down prey. The Balance of Nature is maintained that way.
Merveilleuse vidéo qui nous plonge dans la vie réelle de dame Nature. Merci à vous Jim Brandenburg et toute l’équipe prod de nous offrir de telles minutes bonheurs et prise de conscience
Wonderful video that immerses us in the real life of Mother Nature. Thanks to you Jim Brandenburg and the entire production team for giving us such moments of happiness and awareness
Beautiful birds, liked the pine marten waiting for an opportunity…lovely video.
So very serious, but so adorable!
Great clip – love the sights and sounds. Thank you.
Probably my favorite on of the new year.
Just beautiful! Thank you
Hunger games
beautiful, thank you
Seeing the faces of the forests gives me an upbeat feeling. I love the red pine grosbeaks who brighten the trees and are conspicuous to the pine marten who waits an opportunity to be closer to them. What a great scenario and no one is harmed in this posting!
Sweet sounds and faces. Thank you!
Thank you for keeping this so still, only the sounds of nature!!!! Just as it should be….
Looks like a Pine Grosbeak, but I don’t know what the animal is – - would love to know!
Audio is spring, and video is wintry. Beautiful. Thank you.
Is it a Martin?
It’s a house finch (or possibly purple finch or rosefinch). How’s that for definitive?
very good. thanks
Yes, it’s a marten.
A pine marten and the birds are pine grosbeaks.
One of my faves, thank you so much!
So cute
What a great capture of elements. Love.
Thank you.
These guys are so cute.
Gorgeous Grosbeaks!
What kind of bird is featured in this clip?
Pine Grosbeak. I’ve seen lots of evening grosbeaks but no pines. Another reason to love your work.
Thanks!
Superbe……merci
Love! The pine marten’s lip smacking made me smile.
I love these nature clips
thank you, wonderful
Thanks for sharing this beautiful clip.
Love this one, the natural sounds are so soothing, the vid spectacular, Jim! TY!
I’ve seen this video for three years now and I still love it. Jim’s work is timeless.
I love these ones — where there is no added music or sounds — just the birds, wind, or silence.
Such a beautiful moment of interaction – communication among the pines and snow.
Great picture! Thanks for sharing!
That’s awesome
Thank you.
A mini-drama in less than a minute.. Beautiful photography captures the hunger in the Marten’s eyes, and the recognition by the red birds. Love these slices of wild life.
Gorgeous
Always amazed by what you capture!
I was mesmerized by the marten and his bright-eyed anticipation of a possible “bird” dinner. Fortunately the beautiful birds were flitting about and only teased the appetite of the interested marten.
Oh, so darn cute!
Greatness!
Thank you for keeping this so still, only the sounds of nature!!!! Just as it should be….
The silence is appreciated.
Loved it!
Cute little fox-like creature. Is that a pine marten? We don’t have those whee I live so I’m not familiar with them.
This is the kind of weather we are getting here, Western Mass, on Tuesday. Not looking forward to it.
The Marten is just so cute…and the red on the Grosbeaks so bright against that snow fall. The sound of snow falling…silence is beautiful.
Everyone has to eat….just don’t eat the birdies please! Must be so hard to find food in this weather.
Just superb
Beautiful Grossbeaks and that rascally Pine Marten! Thank you for my morning visit to the wild side.
Thanks Jim ! ❤️
