I was fortunate to see thousands of sandhill cranes on their migration in Kearney, Nebraska a few weeks ago. Love seeing them in flight, and landing in fields!
Wow! What a racket they make. Music to my ears. I once walked slowly into a flock of geese and suddenly they were startled and took off. I will never forget the sound of their voices and the beating of their wings.

Love the Sandhills, sorry to see that Phragmites have invaded your wetlands, as they are now all along the highways of Ontario.

The you tube logo is Very annoying. Haven’t seen that on your videos prominently displayed the entire video before. Have followed and enjoyed your daily video presentation for the last two yrs. So i hope this logo junk is not going to continue.

I was watching on my phone. No cursor. Was surprised it stayed on as it has not done that before. I didn’t go full screen but will try next time. That usually gets rid of stuff like ads etc. I gave enjoyed his video series for the last two yrs and have several of his books. Great photographer.
