How many photographers catch a wolf napping?
Only the very patient ones.
This is a wonderful look on’t the lives of wolves. Many would have you believe they are nothing but killing machines. That’s so not true. They rest, play, stretch and clean themselves much like our domestic dog’s. Thanks Jim, for this serene look into the lives of wolves.

Just wonderful to see the wolf sleeping, stretching, and then finding another spot to sleep. it’s a lazy afternoon for the animals and birds. What a lovely place to be. Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely “Secret” valley that exists for the pleasure of the inhabitants who enjoy the scenic views and revel in the time to snooze, stretch and just enjoy the aerial views. I hope to find such a place where I can feast my eyes on such beauty and then relax and find rest there.
Paradise Found! A wild dog, a bald eagle and cattails, all in the green of our only home, Earth. And, science maintains, the color green is the easiest color on the human eye. This was mankind’s only home for almost the entirety of his existence. Many thank-you’s for sharing paradise.
Sleeping on the rocks because they are warm? This one got a belly rub just like my dog does when he awakens. Great video. I pray these pups can grow up to be strong adults and continue doing what wolves do. Thank you for sharing.
