Louis-Marie Préau grew up in the Loire Valley and developed a passion for nature and photography at a very young age, spending many hours watching wildlife. He became a professional photographer in 2001 and since then won numerous international awards such as the Wildlife Photographer of the Year (a competition organized by the BBC Wildlife Magazine and the London Museum of Natural History).
