Vincent Chabloz has been fascinated by nature since his childhood, spent in the area of Morges, Switzerland, and his now a confirmed naturalist and director.
He shot his first images on 16mm film in 1989. He has been making documentaries for his own account (Nivalis Films) ever since, and also for Les films de la Salamandre since 2007. His goal is to continue to work in the long term, by giving himself the necessary time (supreme luxury nowdays) and to bring together authentic images. Respect for animals is essential to him, as well as filming in preserved wilderness, without artifice or trained animals.
